having it as a surprise definitely is more entertaining for the viewer, its like being in on an inside joke and she's the butt of the joke. Plus women aren't that good as performers, any time they act like they know what they're getting into it always comes off as cringe unless they're hypersexual women like sheena shaw, gianna etc
