I don't think anyone Rogan-adjacent automatically sucks, I just don't think Schaub or any of those other people on those lists are funny.
News Flash: different people have different tastes.
I listed a handful of comics I think are funny. It's not like I don't like any working comics. I'm just more of a Jake Johanssen or Andy Kindler or Todd Barry kind of fan. Those guys have their niche. Artie Lange would be considered a dirtbag but he's one of the funniest comics ever as far as I'm concerned. That's just my taste. I think Louie C.K. is the best living comic though by far. No contest. And he's a real auteur with TV and film.

Louie is still relevant. He won a Grammy well after he was "canceled" for his jerkoff shit. I just saw 'I Love You, Daddy'. Louie has proven to basically be considered too important to the arts to truly cancel. Like Woody Allen, he'll always have defenders and people who publicly stand up for him and choose to work with him for little money.
I wish so bad that Louie could've kept going though. For a moment he really had it all.
