I'm taking care of my parent's dogs while they are on vacation this week, one lab, one dachshund. They said to give the lab a small cup of food twice a day and 3/4 of a can of green beans at night (the dachshund gets the other quarter.) I took the lab for a walk/jog tonight, afterwards fed her all the food/beans, and 30 minutes after eating she vomited outside. She really wanted to eat the vomit, but I didn't let her, (hoping the rain tomorrow washes it away but I'm sure she'll still find elements of it to eat.)

Labs are notorious for being overeaters. Did I feed her too much too quickly? Did that cause the vomiting? I'm sure they space out feeding sessions by a few hours at least, but I as the sitter am not going to spend 4+ hours there, should I just ignore the green bean feeding? I doubt they're good for dogs anyway considering they are carnivores.
