/pol/ - has time changed?
Anonymous Finland No.507930710
Yes time has changed and that's because culture moves with economic cycles.
2008 should have been the end of the cycle that started in the 80's, as that's when the housing market finally collapsed along with the markets, but the money printers went active and prevented economy rotating like it should.
They didn't want to wait through a recovery from a legit recession or depression and just printed their way out of it.
That also gave them a way not having to figure out a new legit growth sector, they just kept pumping the stock market with printed money and pretended that was real growth.
We have basically been living the collapse of 2008 ever since it happened, which is why things are increasingly worse by the year. Now the can has been kicked down the road for so long, that when things pop it's going to be absolutely catastrophic.
I think the only way to continue this is to start a war, that justifies even more mindless money printing until things can't be sustained anymore. That's basically how every large empire in history fell.

Lmao i try to help them get rich and give them good financial advice but they prefer to make coin merchants rich, truly fascinating to observe
