Sort of but you start with a pool of a few dozen and get points to either buy batches of pixels to place, an increased cap (this increases automatically as you place pixels as well) or more colors (and of course you can also pay real money for these). Depending on how big the bun is supposed to be, it might take a bit but stuff like picrel should be doable quickly and you can always let your pixels build up over an hour or two and chip away at it over a few days.

Imo the real shit thing is having forced login via google or twitch
