I loved gen 7 but it was when the cancerous practices began.
>3ds was great
>Using any console as a usb media player was great
>Playing with friends online was great
>The toxic chat was great
>Even the shitty reviews, tips, and ads thrown in that you'd discover browsing the homescreen were great.
But all this would go from quaint innovation to straight up fucking cancer after this generation and they would take away all media playback on USBs.
I get why people hate gen 7 in retrospect, but at the time it really was peak.
