I tried but I must have got something wrong somewhere as I ended up with a cost in the tens of thousands of dollars range. Can an anon correct me?
>there's a 0.053% chance to pull an off-banner support card
>you start with 0 Kitasan Black and 0 Super Creek SSR cards
>therefore you need to pull 5 of each
>so you need to land a 0.053% chance 10 times
I ran that through Wolfram Alpha's binomial distribution calculator. I didn't account for the fact that there's a guaranteed SR on each 10-pull (does that even affect the SSR chance?).

So for a 50% chance to get the 10 cards you need, it would take 18,000 pulls (2.7 million carats, or $37,800 assuming you pay $70 for 5000 carat packs).
For a 99% chance to get the 10 cards you need, it would take 35,000 pulls (5.25 million carats, or $73,500 assuming the same $70 for 5000 carats).

I must have got this wrong somewhere. I am meant to be using binomial distributions for this, right? Did I input the probabilities incorrectly? Please forgive me, I'm tired.
