And so many lost opportunities due to their generic monarchy vs generic monarchy setup. If they'd let the syndies be around in some capacity or at least made the Russians do something in Africa that could be fun. Or if the Ottomans had won and were starting to go for some kind of crazy African empire via their conquered Egyptian holdings. Prussian Rhodeisa fending off an Ottoman Jihad? Now that's a fun twist. The infinite possibilities in the universe and they... Chose to make their setup for Africa be the KR 1936 starting map, more or less, with all opportunities for interesting content in the region gone.
Reminds me a lot of TFO actually. All the opportunities offered by original TNO, and they chose to canonize all the boring reworks, removed the RKs, went with the most mundane outcomes for Germany and Russia, picked the most generic opening for America and called it a day. I don't get these people that want nothing to ever happen and insist on things to be the most morally ambiguous grey slop in terms of soulless wars and proxy conflicts.
