it's the devastation mod, it reduces state civilian population by a factor of military casualties, infrastructure damage, and state building damage within a particular state, and also population flows away from conflict zones + refugees crises. It also displays this in a new map mode so you can see past conflict zones visually. really cool mod, especially for TFR. Only issue is that it's very resource intensive and slows the game down significantly even for high end systems. also has some unexpected or even game breaking effects on tags, especially with stability effects on countries bordering conflict zones due to refugee crises. definitely worth checking out though, it massively increases the realism and dynamicity of many conflicts
