They started over multiple times in order to make it more realistic. Their latest move has been to replace all African content which is leading to more reworks.

At least they have a Mittelafrika that can collapse. TNO is deleting all of that and replacing it with whatever the hell this is. Say whatever you want about Kalterkrieg but they recognized the problems with the mod and said they they'd try to address it. TNO on the other hand is aggressively doubling down on all their most unpopular decisions. Do I think Kalterkrieg will be good? No, but at least they're telling me that they want to make it better and I'd love to be proven wrong. TNO won't even do that they're telling me that no matter how pessimistic I am they'll still find another low to sink to.
