The father didn't call the son while the mother was dying, and loosely blamed the son for the death of his mother. When the son finally got home the father also ate the son's hamburger and it really put him over the edge and so he killed his dad in his sleep with a shotgun blast.
This was all done through a translator because hes accent (or speech issue?) was so thick no one could understand him.
