Leave smartphone at home and use it as if it were a landline. I'm not even joking.
Chad Mode: only turn it on for a couple of minutes each day just to see if there are new messages or missed calls you may want to call back, the turn it off again for the rest of the day.
If you want to have games, music and media apps, maps, etc, use another phone exclusively for that, without a SIM card or cellular network of any kind, only Wi-Fi to your home router. Use apps that store all the necesary data locally (e.g., OsmAnd for maps). If you can, turn off the network permissions for the apps you do not trust.
