I played the beta. Me and a buddy labbed the game. Tokon is ASW's take on a Tag style GBVS game. It's not trying to be a chaotic MvClike or even a MvClite. It's just another variation of what they have been making since 2017. I played the BBTAG beta, the DBFZ beta, and now this one. Token is the weakest one, having basically no free foam options and many restrictions that are bound to you focusing heavily on the universal mechanics rather than player expression. So dont expect to see anything remotely like MvC series here.
The gameplay wont sale the game, the characters, the comic waifus like Psylocke will.
