That said, I don't think Roiland coming back would magically save the show. Both of them together were what made R&M work originally, but now too many things are set in stone (ironic for a show about INFINITE multiverses with INFINITE adventure potential) so it would take a complete re-education for the writer's staff to reconnect with the roots of the show and rebuild it
