Anybody praising the story in 3 is an absolute retard who probably slept through 2. It's obvious it was written by a bunch of incompetent fucks who had no idea what they were doing.
Don't get me wrong. As a game, H3 is an definite improvement over 2 in pretty much all aspects. But you cannot possibly defend that shit show of a story with a straight face if you have any respect for what Halo was up to that point.
