I don't mind his writing when it's done in a side content void with new characters. But completely ignoring prior characterization and world building for the sake of single scenes is so stupid. I get that you like stage plays. But ignoring the style the game has had for years prior is lame if not selfish. Even before Ishikawa, one of the world's strengths was it's consistency. If the game gave you information, you could expect the characters to act around that according to their established personalities. Writing your scenes around the "emotion" you want to display instead of that is dumb.
