Crusader anon back with more progress. The picture is the main draw for some of my aesthetics, mostly the cape as I'd already settled on a blue/yellow/white scheme. No shading on the cape yet. Started blocking in some smaller details.

I want to ask you guys about blood spray. This guy has just been through a hectic battle where he's no doubt slaughtered countless heretics and Muslim barbarians. What process do you use? I've heard tell of a toothbrush method, has anyone used it? Is there a correct amount of blood to give the correct effect without drowning the model?
