the knight is clearly a spamton-flavored unintroduced character, but people are so focused on the pre-established that you've all lost the plot.
when the knight is revealed in chapter 5's field of PINK and GOLD, and you're all reeling about muh dess muh carol as if toby didn't give us 5 billion clues, don't come crying like it's a surprise.

spamton is by far the most overlooked lore character of chapters 3+4. spamton is deltarune's jar jar, he is the KEY to EVERYTHING. understand spamton and you understand kris. you understand the knight. you understand the game.
