That's normal. No one likes being forced to do anything and being stuck to a schedule. And being in the comfort of your own home makes things worse because you're constantly battling with the desire to sleep in or chill because you're home but need to get work done.
It also doesn't help that most of the work a lot of working anons do probably (myself included) could be done in a few hours. But pointless meetings and busywork keep you stuck because, at least in burgerland, you have to work 8 hours because...you just have to okay!? Even if you can produce the same amount and quality of work in half the time.

It's crazy how hard it can be to find work that doesn't have an insane commute. Even if your job is semi-close to where you live, traffic can be a bitch. Back when I worked in an office, I'd spend nearly 2hrs a day commuting because of rush traffic and extremely poor city infrastructure.
This is why WFH is the lesser of 2 evils. At least I can roll out of bed 10-15 minutes before my shift starts and immediately be free to fuck off when my day ends.
