It doesn't. The story doesn't cast judgement on how the social conventions work, it just presents it as it is. It's the reason why Kusunoki asked for Shizuki's help. She wanted to change the way others perceive her and even in the previous chapter we got a glimpse into that with Irie's friends.
What the story paints as wrong is Hebikawa's inability to self-reflect and recognizing that people can be good.
