Here's the summary:
>2.5 anni is hyped up as all anni events are and the big character of the collab, Siren, is hyped up. Previous event had Cinderella, who was a huge for (You) character
>event hits
>the vast majority of the event is just Siren being lonely by herself, while a completely new Nikke that's never seen before (Mori), becomes the center of the entire event
>Siren's "advises" are just her doing things by herself, we still know practically nothing about her
>Mori is also SR, not an SSR unit, so she's practically guaranteed to be an irrelevant character
>the other big SSR unit is Mihara, who is to date, the worst anniversary unit in the game and is also one half of a strong yuri relationship in the game
>both $60 gacha skins are both coated and not at all titillating
>Cinderella and Grave, both important plot characters from the last anni and in the main story, ditch SKK to go meet up with Siren and gang
>said anni event also adds a huge diversion to the timeline of the main story, and as a result, everything else has slowed to a crawl and caused the most boring, slow arc of the story thus far
>the anni itself was also kind of small and didn't meet the expectations of 2.0 (worse minigame, writing, etc.)
It doesn't end there either.
>two boring events directly after with little to no bearing on the plot, then stellar blade collab slop
>an actual OK event followed by the worst summer event done in the game thus far that minimized SKK
>then a lore event for a squad of Nikkes with 0 SKK
The only thing that ended this slide was the recent bunny girl event which had a ton of ML content and great fanservice and even then, ShiftUp couldn't help themselves and shat out an awful gacha skin that nobody bought because they coated her for no reason. And now that goodwill is pissed away for Resident Evil collabslop that's now running for an entire month to lead us directly into the 3.0 anni.
