Cameras are everywhere, parents othen install tracking apps connected to their children phone plans.
How the fuck do you sneak out and buy illegal alcohol? Shops employees are 100% under cameras now, they wouldn't risk selling minors alcohol fearing firing or may be even criminal prosecution. Backwards are under cameras too and police would happily jump on group of teenagers hanging there with bottles after video surveillance dispatcher sees that.
That is interesting social dynamic when some things are formally illegal but you can do its not so enforced *wink wink*. So whatever it's illegal.
But today laws in the books are kinda stayed the same but enforcement due to surveillance technology and changing social norms drastically increased. So society drastically changed despite same laws.
