It's basically a "hard mode" version of the normal story, so if you didn't enjoy the main game that much don't bother desu. Trip is a precious cinammon roll though and I love the animations

I can understand this criticism; personally I liked the variety, but it is a bit all over the place, and some of the tracks (I love Jun Senoue but...) feel more like unfinished placeholders. Like the tracks he did arranged by Tee Lopes and TORIENA etc. sound amazing, but then you have these like 10 second loops with the Sonic 4 instruments lol...

Yeah this was my main gripe with the game desu. I liked the boss designs and ideas but some were stupidly brutal and could've benefitted from checkpoints, less one hit kill attacks, and overall more consistency. It took me almost two hours to beat Trip's final boss, then I beat the true final boss like first try lol
