I don't think there'd be any reason to mix Gatomon and Antylamon, but EX3 Gatomon can grab Cherubimon because it is a Cherub.
It's a translation quirk: all the ranks of Angels include "Tenshi-gata" (Angel-type) in Japanese but Three Great Angels is just "San dai tenshi" so if there were a card that had Three Great Angels but not one of the others (Throne, Seraph, Cherub etc) it would not be searchable. Pic related.
