BlackWarGreymon is good but I think the really important cards from the set for the deck are actually MetalGreymon and Koromon. BT22 Gaiomon and probably Yuuko are going to be key cards in the deck too, and having a new black Koromon lets us run BT11 Agumon X as a searcher that also grabs Yuuko, without running into breeding area problems. Gaiomon also being naturally X-Antibody lets us take advantage of X-Anti packages (unfortunately I think this means we're going to want Protoforms, RIP $80). MetalGreymon forcing attacks lets you take advantage of your "when an attack target is switched" effects more reliably and enables Aces, of which we now have two good ones (BWG and EX9's Blitz).

One thing I'm a little worried about is Tamer bloat. I want to run Yuuko because she can protect from Aces and just gives so much DP, I want to run BT12 Tai to give Blocker to Gaiomon or random bodies if I need it, and I want to run ST15 Tai as a memory setter. That has me worried that I'll have too many Tamers or I won't be able to reliably have Blockers. I'm not about to run BT8 Greymon, am I?

I think BT12 Greymon that plays a Tai is worth running because it uses the old formatting which actually benefits from running both Tai and Yuuko, but the SEC that plays Tais and Karis is up in the air. I don't know how much of a benefit the alternative of hatching will bring if you flood on Yuukos instead of finding a Tai. It also conflicts slightly with BT11 MetalGreymon X, which I think could be a solid tech option with an X-Anti package.

No, that one's so old it doesn't have an evo box. It ONLY evolves from red, cutting us off from the black Agumon X.

Yuuko giving us a huge 3k DP boost and Digimon effect immunity when we Raid OR Block is really good, enough that I think it's worth building our deck around to some degree.

I think Yuuko's RizeGreymon does BT12 MetalGreymon's job better as long as we aren't trying to use BT9 MetalGreymon X or BT12 WarGreymon. MetalGreymon playing a Tamer when we change attack targets means that if we play Yuuko or ST15 Tai we've missed the window to activate their "when attack targets are changed" effects.

I do think there could easily be a version of the deck that doesn't run Yuuko and instead leans a bit into the BT21 Adventure line and Alterous Mode and only Tais, but I personally want to run Yuuko for that effect protection.

Alysion has to be the worst game in this franchise. Not only does it look like a poorly made student project, it gets way too much about the card game wrong to the point I believe whoever is making it has never touched the game before.

Even the marketing for the game is awful. Digimon is about the monsters, but all the Alysion promotional material puts a bunch of anime girls front and center with the Digimon on the sidelines. It reeks of generic gacha game that only exists to flood app stores. About 5 different people at my locals are irked out by the presentation and said they'll pass on the game despite liking Digimon.

They already had a great foundation with the tutorial app but decided to throw it away for this.

They should scrap the entire thing and start over from scratch, because as is, I'll be surprised if the game survives more than a month after release.

Nah that's retarded, because of all the things you complained about the only one that's possibly a genuine problem with the fundamental game logic is the board size limit. Bad UI is just window dressing, it should definitely be fixed but there's no reason to scrap the whole game over it. They may need to do a lot of work implementing newer cards to bring the format up to date, but again, that isn't necessarily a problem with the fundamental game logic.

Im still experimenting but i found Machinedramon pretty good with the Ver5 eggs. You usually have jaming to secure it doesn't die to dumb shit in security and allows vademon to attack and trigger. I run different aces just for the surprise factor. I like the keyword soup the cards get such as patamon barrier, jamming piercing and metalmamemon fucks up anything that doesn't have digivolution charts.
