If only they also took notes and made him act smart in addition to being called smart and acting quirky. I've yet to see Boy Genius do anything that seems smart, meanwhile L was "introduced" by tricking the main character in a clever way.

Characters that break "show don't tell" are so tiring, I hope Kavalier does SOMETHING that is smart or analytical before he inevitably gets killed.
