Nigger, half of 79 is essentially slow, drawn out chase sequence between the Zion forces and White Base, in which I was forced to sit there for listen to all of the White Baser inhabitants bicker on and on about how a piece of equipment wasn't functioning right, how the left side of Gundam was "too open for attack" while it was being converted or unconverted from the G Wing or whatever the fuck the fighter plane was called, how many seconds the said conversion took and how it took too long, how much sleep Amoro wasn't getting, how sociopathic both of his parents were (seriously, the fuck was up with that, tonally inconsistent and way too dark, even for my tastes)....I had to sit there for more than 20 episodes and listen to pilots bitching about how slow G Tank was or or how long it would take for them to perform repairs on the ass section of Gundam or whatnot. I was forced to listen for over eleventy billion times a new name for some for some new prototype mech the Zeons had rolled out that I couldn't even pronounce because the VAs couldn't enunciate for shit, and I also had to sit there and listen to Amoro complain about losing ammo in his energy rifle for the umpteenth time while the show recycled more animation than a Disney production. Do you know how little I cared about those three snot-nosed brats and their misadventures that lead to them getting captured by the Zeon saboteurs?

And for the love of Sayla's buxom tits, I could not give one less of a fuck about all of these scenes involving Bright and his incessant relaying of orders over the comms. Am I watching mecha or Star Trek? Basically, what I'm trying to get at here is, and I apologize for being so roundabout here...this show is goes into excruciating detail about so much shit that no one should care about.; Way too much detail over petty nonsense that it's almost comical. If Tomino can do all that, he can explain Newtypes.
