For the past two weeks of this streak (which started maybe 45 days ago? No clue) I’ve been eating one meal per day. I’m trying to lose some weight so my one meal is at most around 1000 calories.
Someone in a previous thread said that because of the hierarchy of needs, fasting can make SR much easier because your body can’t really afford to be super horny when you’re also in need of food. So far this seems to be true.
I feel fantastic. I also quit alcohol around the same time I started OMAD which definitely helps. I used to need at least 9 hours of sleep in order to not be dead tired the entire day but lately I’ve been sleeping for 6 and I’m pretty alert for most of the day.
(This isn’t my first time doing OMAD, so my body is somewhat used to it. I first tried it around 18 months ago and the first two weeks were brutal, I would get soooo hungry in the hours before meal time, but now it’s not like that. I eat at the same time every day and I’m not particularly hungry throughout the day)
