I hate Penelope in Sly 4 and I’m still mad that shitty game will probably be the last game in the series instead of 3. Basically, she betrays the Cooper Gang and her boyfriend Bentley (one of my favorite characters) because she thought they weren’t making enough money. It’s a retarded motivation and she was never shown to hate the Gang or be that greedy in the last game. Her design is also worse, like all of Sly 4’s designs, because she’s not meant to be a tall babe like Carmelita—both she and Bentley gave each other fake photos of themselves when they were chatting online and were initially disappointed when they met in person. These games never had a very complicated story, so it’s impressive how much they managed to fuck up 4.
