Alright, let’s improve the “Ingrained” creepypasta.
We should take a look at what the story is about first.
>Bad ending, where May failed to stop Team Aqua.
>Everything's submerged, her chances of survival are non-existent.
>All her pokemon except for a Roselia are said to have drowned.
>Finally starts to drown as well.
>Not bearing the thought of its trainer dying, May’s desperate Roselia uses the move "Ingrain" on itself and its friend.
>Turns out this was a terrible idea.
>The roots bind them to the bottom of the ocean, and the regeneration provided by Ingrain prevents them from dying.
>Probably too weak to free themselves, both are now trapped in an endless loop of drowning and being revived.
>Likely stuck in this watery hell for all eternity, as no one will ever come to their rescue.
>Either because the flood caused mankind to go extinct or survivors are completely unaware they’re still alive.
The story is sparse on some information:
>Is the story set in the RSE or ORAS timeline? The FNF mod states it’s ORAS.
>Did May failed at her battle against Team Aqua or Kyogre?
>What pokemon were in her team? What was her starter? Kinda odd her starter gets never mentioned or mourned by her in any fan media. Should be a big deal, after all.
>Shouldn’t she have any water or flying types that could evacuate her? What happened to them (a “drowning water-type” doesn’t make sense)?
Plot holes:
>How is Ingrain able to prevent fainting, not to mention fatal injuries?
>Why didn't she use her water-type pokemon?
>If she failed at battling Kyogre, why didn’t she put the Aqua Suit back on?
>Where is Rayquaza?
>Wouldn't other legendaries interfere with Kyogre flooding the world?
>Why is the bow still there?
Since the effect of Ingrain can be transferred to other pokemon, we can ignore objections regarding Roselia using Ingrain on May.
