I don't usually come here, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice on an idea I can't seem to shake: that Jesus, Avalokiteshvara, Guanyin, Kannon, and maybe Horus are the same recurring person/entity/deity. In John, Jesus declares: “I am the vine, you are the branches.” (John 15:5) He prays, “That they all may be One, as you, Father, in me and I in you. That they all may be One in us.” (John 17:21) To me, Jesus makes more sense as savior; not merely as the pleasing sacrifice to appease the Father-God’s wrath, but as the “Christ-energy” in everybody.
