The sun produces white light. As we all know, white light contains all the colors of the rainbow. Celestia is white and her mane is a rainbow, so Celestia is like a prism. The most famous pop culture depiction of a prism separating white light into a rainbow is the album cover of The Dark Side of the Moon. The moon obviously symbolizes Luna, and her dark side is Nightmare Moon, so the album title refers to Nightmare Moon. An album whose cover refers to Celestia and whose title refers to Nightmare Moon can mean only one thing: The members of Pink Floyd were originally from Equestria and went through the mirror portal to get to Earth. The title of their later album The Wall obviously refers to the fact that the portal is now closed.
