low effort guide on how to gear up in lemix:
>hit level 80
>reach baseline 584 gear from everything
>bazaar quest rewards (purple box) are guaranteed to be 3 ilvls higher than your highest piece of gear in your bags/equipped
>raids drop gear equal to your highest piece, have a chance of being 3 ilvls higher (higher difficulty = higher chance of upgrade)
>10 blue motes turn into a piece of gear equal to your highest ilvl piece
>each green quest reward/dungeon completion chest gives 1-2 blue motes
>killing a dungeon boss gives 1-2 blue motes
>heroic world quests and rares give extra chests and motes
meta for gearing up is get some upgrades, fill out the rest of your gear with blue mote gear (or ragequit when you get 3 pants in a row), then get some more upgrades from dailies/raids. repeat forever. once youre able to solo normal dungeons you explode in ilvl because you can farm blue motes really fast
m+ is dogshit for gearing up mains. the rewards from m+ are static. a +2 will always drop 584, a +20 will always drop 631. HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!! this will be great for alts. once people are giga geared they will be able to carry fresh 80s. you loot a piece of 631 gear, all quest/mote rewards scale to that piece of gear. youll be able to skip the grind
also there may or may not be a bug with heroic world mode. it gives bonus loot, but its secretly giving bonus loot in instanced content. maybe. idk. exploit early exploit often, leave it on when you dungeon grind just in case
