GW never managed to make the concept work as a standalone army and even in terms of the color coded demons I don't remember the last time they managed to make something that actually surprised me for the better.
Maybe the ex-FW team will be allowed to make a range of cool ruinstorm demons, to avoid the pitfall of the rainbow vomit army, but I'm not holding my breath.
