Everyone remembers Izumi, and she's by far the worst of it to be clear, but the same thing happened to the brat kid, Tomoki, too. Coincidentally, the red guy, Takuya, is the one who saves him too, which gets into the real problem here.

The whole season was just bizarrely paced and structured. There was absolutely no reason the red and blue kid needed to absorb everyone else's powers to get not one, but two super forms.
