mallards are nice, people like to feed them here so they're very friendly to the point they start running at my car when I arrive at a certain parking lot next to a gulf
I had pigeons trying to nest on my balcony this summer, and they were a big nuisance. very often waking me up at 6am with their annoying noise, forcing me to get up and scare them away. they were very persistent and took several weeks until they stopped coming

recently been taking walks next to a lake with 4 residing black-throated loons, 2 adults and 2 youngins. fun to observe the adults fish and feed them. soon they'll probably migrate, but it's still pretty warm here (15-22°C), so they might stick around for a few more weeks
