It's probably just out of cultural differences, but after months of hype, I expect at least a little hangout. I expect friends to at some point respond, not necessarily immediately, to calls like where are they at and up to, so we can click back together and catch up over the con, enjoy some panels together or room hangout.
Instead I have friends in a wide spectrum of not making an effort, from never responding, to being unnecessarily vague, to just refusing to meet, having yet to even see their faces. Cool letdown. Bums me out. Fuck em then. I got you lot and the sweet atmosphere of poni around me.
