Games with good gameplay tend to be played a lot, which means you get exposed to their music a lot, which means you grow to like it over time due to familiarity, music publishers abuse this phenomenon to force people into liking their garbage hits by constantly playing them on repeat on public radio and in places like malls/stores etc

Most games people claim have good music don't actually have good music, just music people grew to like due to repeated exposure

I witness this first hand constantly by playing the so called 10/10 vidya OSTs without having played the games and not caring for the music in the slightest
