Actually I think the gravity stuff would absolutely fit Silver's game style. Instead of it being gravity shifting though it's explained as him just flinging himself around with his telekinesis. He can still fly and glide like in 06 but he can also just wholesale fling himself anywhere he wants and walk on walls and roofs.
