Yeah, it's a shame they half-assed it. But I can understand that recreating all the sprites in HD was out of scope for yet another port, and it's not like they'd be able to recycle the sprites in future games either because they've gone all-in on 3D.

I'm glad Disgaea D2 exists though. The HD sprites it gave us are great.
