Yes. The ideal monitor is one that can resolve motion without trailing artifacts from overshoot or smearing from pixels that don't transition from one color to another instantly regardless of how fast the content being rendered on-screen is changing. The issue is the faster the pixel needs to change the greater the penalty for slow response times of LCDs gets hit by.

I am aware of what DyAC can do, but it still has some issues with cross-talk at the top/bottom of the panel not updating at the same time as the middle portion because screens refresh in pieces at a time (from top to bottom, and left to right). Also you'll still have overshoot because of how hard the overdrive of these TNs are being pushed. Also image duplication on occasion. CRT Shader-based frame interception or full-field BFI of OLED is the better option.
