Ange has a huge ego and his all out attack that he showed when he first came to the premier league he did that partly to show off and show everyone in England who he was and how good he was as a coach, that he could attack any team in the league etc. I predict we will see a slightly less outrageous style with Nottingham Forest now from Ange, he has matured a bit. Partly I think he had dug himself in a hole at Spurs a little bit with the press and the players and he couldn't really go back on his style after he was so vocal about it.

If you watch the interview video that Nottingham Forest has just put out (from 2:56) you can see that he admits that he cares more about winning and results so he is already sending a new message about his style and I think he is ready to change and happy to prove people wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj4a1oaUqHI

My point to put it another way is that Angeball isn't really that consistent, he just wants to play well, score goals and prove people wrong everywhere he goes
