Exercising is important, though most of the calories you burn don't even come from exercise.
And yeah, it might be uncomfortable or inconvenient, but you simply have to do it. Starting is always the hardest part. Nothing comes for free. I too had to work up a lot of courage to step into the gym. Make sure to bring headphones and some good music. Death metal does it for me

I don't know your measurements but damn, that's basically half of my maintenance. Don't take it too far, diet soda is a lifesaver, eat fiber and protein (especially if you want to exercise), you can do it :)
