SOME people do, especially since those same people usually didn't do Chapter 3's bonus stuff (or bring tension items) to make the fight a literal joke. It IS the hardest mandatory fight, but even without the shard, it's not saying much since the fight as a whole can be easily cheesed and a majority of bullets are being deleted by your SOULs light anyway
