I am familiar with the mainstream notion of the tripartite caste system based on Rig's Lay, but I do not see what you claim in any source.
Note that Mjølner evolved from the same striking implement that became the mace and eventually the royal scepter: a kingly symbol.
The spear is not broadly associated with kingship specifically, but is almost universally associated with masculinity (see the symbol for male, for example) as it is phallic and the primary weapon of the common warrior.
