its sad man I used to really like the story, especially the Alliance side, when Varian was still around. He was a cool character that made me proud to be an Alliance player. I even enjoyed early BFA with young Anduin. They've completely ruined Anduin's character over the last ~5 years or so. Horde has it pretty bad too with Thrall's ED, Undead being neutered with Calia, and Orgrimmar being stuck in the Garrosh era for the last 15 years. Unironically the coolest character on the Horde right now is either Lor'themar (who they will kill off in Midnight almost 100%) and the Zandalari queen girl I forget her name.
