I stopped having a discussion with that thing about FFXIII a looong time ago. There is absolutely no way that anyone who has actually played these games and can accurately recite the events of the game in any capacity without being biased that would actually refer to her that way. She's no more Mary Sue than any major FF protagonist is a Gary Stew, especially in FFXIII. She's actually in the backseat for so many important plot moments, and actually gets the shortest end of the stick for a majority of her run....she's humbled, she's embarrassed, she apologizes, she loses over and over, taken from her family, forced to Valhalla, forced out of her loved ones memories...before getting the huge monster push at the end to close it out. Compare her story arcs to Clive for example, or Wuk Lamat....yeah
