I think series/genres like Liar Game lose something when turned into anime because you don't really get the time to let information sit with you.
Part of the fun of Liar Game is being overwhelmed by the high-IQ plays the same way Kanzaki is in beginning, but over the course of the manga you start to understand the mangakas logic and hint system and begin to be one step ahead.
THAT'S when it becomes fun because you feel like a mastermind when your predictions get a higher and higher success rate. For that you don't need to be rushed which anime often does.

But hey, I'm still looking forward to it. Hoping for a good OST.
