Alright, The Red Devils are roughly Battalion sized but irregular. I'll decide their exact make up later but it sure ain't 36 mechs. I'm thinking two mech companies and then a half company of mixed vehicles and half company of infantry. Then we can be assigned extra assets as per.
I'm part of a 2 mech half lance detachment, callsign Electric Goose. Normally tasked with tertiary objectives as part of bigger operations. Small raids, civilian relief, harassment, scouting and recon. That sort of thing.

Luther "Leopard" Reese (that's me), pilots a 3V Locust. Hell yeah.
My Brother in arms "Frog" pilots a Falcon.
We're also joined by a Scorpion tank for some reason.

If we perform well I might request we get upgraded to resemble a full lance. I'm not going to bother with book keeping a merc force, I'm just going to run it as PoV as possible.
