The problem with One Outs it's the fact that it's basically Kaiji....but in middle of a fucking baseball match, meaning there are two significantly different kinds of pacing clashing into each other in the worst way. The amount of dialogue, introspections and internal deductions involved not only requires a huge amount of real time from the actual match that defies any suspension of disbelief, but also totally ruin the pacing of the baseball matches.
At least Liar Game happens in more relaxed situations where it's understandable that the characters stop for a minute to think, but imagine this kind of shit in settings similar to Initial D, Blue Lock, Hajime no Ippo, etc. It's okay to have some flashback, quick analysis and whatnot, but you also want the damn match to progress already, not having a couple of pitches per chapter and then skip the whole thing and say "oh yeah, they won in the end"

Music's good and all, but this ends up being kinda boring for a sports show
